  1. Regulates Your Blood Flow : A research carried out by the University of Maryland revealed that laughter can help in the normal functioning of your blood vessels. Participants were divided into two groups, and one group was made to watch comedy movies, while the other was made to watch drama. Blood vessels of those who watched a drama tensed up, causing a restriction in blood flow. On the other hand, watching comedies helped in regulating blood flow. Not only that, it also lowered blood pressure levels and thereby, reduced the chances of strokes and heart attacks.

2. Boosts Your Immunity: The ability of laughter to reduce stress is invariably linked to the better functioning of your immune system. Stress is a factor in decreases immune system response. When you laugh, the level of infection-fighting antibodies in your body rises, and so does the level of immune cells. So why not laugh to beat that common cough and cold?
