Re: [World Malayali Club] How to stop smoking Cigarette

My dear friends

There is no short cut to stop smoking.  The only way possible is strong will power.  Actually there is no side effects when quitting smoking.  These are your feeling.  I was a chain smoker  consuming almost four packets a day  from the age of 20. it was when i turned 48 that one evening  I had terrible cough and  felt like not smoking. That night I did not smoke at all (otherwise I would have smoked at least 4 cigarettes ).  Next morning I had the urge to take a smoke but then I thought if I can keep the cigarette away  for few hours, why cant I keep it away for ever.  And it was a success.  No magic just will power.  28 years later I am proud to say that I have not ever touched a cigarette.  By quitting smoking I did not face any side effects excepting that my health improved.

Why can't you make a try - just quit - no other way.

Smoking two cigarettes is not a bad thing.Because if you quit smoking you have to face several reactions leading you uncomfortable..If you are very serious  to get rid of this menace  approach  a Acupuncture specialist and e will do the needful. You may have to go for several sittings.Definitely you will get relief. After this treatment make sure that you are away from this malady. you can do some breathing exercises. Or go to Puducheri Arabindo Ashram and meditate before Annai'samadhi atnd continue the same at you home,I am not a healer Also think yourself that you are wasting money risking your life against dangerous diseases and also making your family un comfortable

When you become addict to smoking all this positive exercises will not have any bearing.  Every smoker is totally aware of the nigotine effect in your body.  But the urge overrule every efforts to stop smoking.  It requires enormous will power to do it.  As a smoker myself from my age of 18 ( now I am on 75), I wads an addict.  Despite undergoing angioplasty, I continued the habit after 3 months.  I concede that i am still under this habit- but smokes 2 cigarettes a day, four time.  When I smoke half of the cigarette, I cut it with scissor and keep the unsmoked portion for my next dose.  I repeat this again for the evening.  I know what I am doing is silly but could not stop it.  Once you are addict, you have to have enormous will power.

You have to define the cigarette the # 1 enemy of yours if you want to quit smoking. In this way you will always have a point of determination to deal with it.   Good luck!!!
