I am 69 and my elder brother now settled in Bombay is about as old as you are and as hale and hearty. I have a soft corner for Trichur since it is at Trichur that I spent the best years of my life as student of the Engineering college.
The Samudram package costs 25000+4.5% tax normally. But in Dec there is a 10% hike which takes it to 27500/- + tax per head. It is a five day trip all inclusive.
Normally every year they have a Minicoy Fest in Minicoy Island between Dec 25 and Jan 1. It costs only 15000/-+4.5%. But the schedules have not been published and so we are not in a position to take orders.
I travel quite a lot - 33 countries now. But my wife has travel sickness and so I have to go alone. In a way I envy you in that you can go with your partner.
