ഈ ലോകത്ത് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആരാധനാലയം ഹോസ്പിറ്റലുകള്‍ ആണ്... മുസല്‍മാനും, ഹിന്ദുവിനും, ക്രൈസ്തവനും, ഒരു പോലെ പ്രവേശിക്കാവുന്ന ആരാധനാലയം.. ഇവിടെ ഉയര്‍ന്ന ജാതിക്കാരന്‍ എന്നോ താഴ്ന്ന ജാതിക്കാരന്‍ എന്നോ ഇല്ല; എല്ലാവരും സമന്മാര്‍... രക്തം വേണ്ടവന് ഹിന്ദുവിന്റെതെന്നോ, മുസ്ലിമിന്റെതെന്നോ, ക്രിസ്റ്യന്റെതെന്നോ വേര്തിരിവില്ല, വേര്തിരിച്ച് ചോദിക്കുന്നുമില്ല. എല്ലാവരും സമന്മാര്‍.. ഇവിടെ കല്ലിലും കുരിശിലും തീര്‍ത്ത ദൈവങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ല; പകരം ശുഭ്ര വസ്ത്രമണിഞ്ഞ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രധിനിധികള്‍ മാത്രം... മനസ്സറിഞ്ഞു പലരും ദൈവത്തെ വിളിക്കുന്നത്‌ ഈ ആരാധനാലയങ്ങളില്‍ വച്ചാണ്.. പാവപ്പെട്ടവനും, പണക്കാരനും ഇവിടെ നല്‍കുന്നത് ഒരേ പ്രസാദമാന് (മരുന്നുകള്‍)... പരസ്പ്പരം വെട്ടി ഇവിടെ എത്തുന്ന എല്ലാ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനും കയറ്റുന്നത് ഒരേ കളറുള്ള രക്തമാണ്... മുകളിലെ പ്രസവ മുറിയില്‍ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞു ജനിക്കുമ്പോള്‍, അടിയിലെ മോര്‍ച്ചറിയിലേക്ക് ഒരാള്‍ എത്തുന്നു... ദൈവത്തിനു ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ ജോലി ഉള്ളതും ഇവിടെയാണ്‌.. മരുന്നും ഗുളികയും മണക്കുന്ന ഇടനാഴികളിലൂടെ ഒന്ന് വെറുതെ നടന്നു നോക്കണം.. 200 കിലോ വെയിറ്റ് പൊക്കിയിരുന്ന ജിംനേഷ്യം ആയിരുന്ന സിക്സ് പാക്ക് ഉള്ള ചെറുപ്പക്കാരനും, തൊലി വെളുപ്പ്‌ കൊണ്ട് അഹങ്കരിച്ചു നടന്നിരുന്നവനും എല്ലാം ഈ വാര്‍ഡില്‍ ഒന്ന് അനങ്ങാന്‍ പോലും കഴിയാതെ കിടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്... ''ഇത്രയൊക്കെ ഉള്ളൂ മനുഷ്യന്‍.. എന്നിട്ടും നാം അഹങ്കരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു വൃഥാ'' മതത്തിനെ് പേരിലും; ഞാൻ എന്ന ഭാവത്തിലും അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഞാനിതു സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നു...... ഈ മനുഷ്യജന്മം മനുഷ്യനായി തന്നെ ജീവിക്കാന്‍ നമുക്ക് ശ്രമിക്കാം

Here is the most humane and universal place of worship   Here people of all religions gather and cooperate with each other as at no other place   Here there is no high caste or low caste – all are equal   Here there is no difference in blood in terms of religion; instead the difference is in groups A, A+, B, O etc and blood of a Hindu is often transfused into a Christian or Muslim   Here there are no idols in wood or stone to worship; Instead there are humans engaged in divine work.   Here the rich and poor alike receive the same Prasad irrespective of religion in the form of medicines   People sworn to kill each other come here and get the same medicine and the same blood   When a child is born here on the first floor maternity hall a corpse enters the morgue on the ground floor.   Hospitals, they are the ultimate places of worship where the Bible or the Koran or the Geetha have no locus standi. Instead it is the place where science is worshiped and where science cures the diseases introduced by that sadist called god
