It is surely inhuman act of punishing the present generation for the so called wrong doing of their forefathers . No doubt this has to end. But who will take the initiative of undoing this reservation. No government will dare for the fear of loosing their votes.

Reservation for studies or for job must be restricted to economically weak/backward persons. This will take care of all weak persons based on any religion/community.

Promotions must be only on merit or based on departmental tests.No reservation for deparatmental tests.

This, if followed ,will benefit all needy persons as well as rich persons.

The logic can be extended to Cabinets too.But the problem comes only when a Leader is to be found.This can be allotted by turns- If there are 360 groups, each can be made the Leader for a period of 5 days in the 5-year period. This will also reduce expenses on foreign visits.If a Minister exceeds 5 days of foreign tour, he will have to come back at his own expense - because, as in the Cinderella tale, he ceases to be a Minister in 5 days.The Ministers can also play safe- delay every decision by 5 days so that they will not be blamed for it later!

Friends, is it not a perfect Utopia where everyone will be always happy?

Reservation should continue till caste based society and caste relations exist. Already there is a reservation in society based on castes. Reservation are needed to set this societal injustice.

38 % of Doctors in US are Indians.
36% of NASA Scientists are Indians.
34% of Microsoft employees are Indians.
28% of IBM employees are Indians.
27% of Intel employees are Indians.

We have a lot of quantity but what we want is quality. Give a chance to the deserved rather than the reserved.

Because the demon of Casteism is growing on account of reservation. People make fake caste certificates and taking the seats and scholarships of the talented ones. If the deserved people had got reservation, India could have become a developed country. Poverty and backwardness does not recognise any caste.
For the accomplishment of equal opportunity to deserving candidates...
Because it breaks the unity of the country.
So that all people may feel that they are being treated equally!
Even after 60 years of reservation system, they still need reservation. It means, they just don't deserve it!
And these are the bad bones of RESERVATION.
