Dear friends,
1.     I have been able to see the action/ reaction on Reservation, by most of our friends here. I may share my views.
2.     Let me tell you that reservation was started with a good intention to lift the poor/ needy, so called Scheduled Castes of India. The successive governments, thereafter continued with it for their political motives. The needy , poor people have not benefitted from it. Those who got reservation in fifties and sixties, their third generation is still reaping the harvest. Such people are still continuing with the reservation. Why don't the Govt, eliminate this creamy layer who are so well to do now. ......Because they are a big vote bank. No one is interested in the betterment of our country...but their parties only.
3.    Some people justify that it should continue because it is for those who suffered in the hands of rich of olden days.....well those who suffered for centuries and who made them suffer...are all dead. The so called Forward classes of the day are presently being made to suffer...though they are causing no harm to the scheduled castes now....but...cool-ly watching and suffering. Their children, despite falling in merit, do not get admissions, jobs and promotions as compared to SC ST. So in a way...some people are now being made to suffer because of some other. Not justifiable...we are making the forward class poor and thus creating a new class of Scheduled people...
4.    Reservation at any one stage is acceptable say free studies...thereafter one should be capable of competing....But...No...Reservation at present is there for getting free education, followed by priority admissions, followed by jobs and then out of turn promotion as well. This is entirely unjustified. Atrocious......
5.    The pity is that now from caste basis , it is switching over to religion basis. we are aware that some Govts have stared doing it. So where do see an end ?
6.   Though it is highly desirable that reservation is stopped forthwith....yet it does not seem possible...because no political party will dare doing it, for obvious reasons. Today scheduled caste people are not those who are born in Jhuggi Jhoprhi but those who can not make their both ends meet. Sooner we realize it, better it is...

Muraleedharan reservation is a disincentive , contemplate. Free education upto the research level, coaching all the way up, let us not drop levels of competence/ efficiency.Nothing free has value in the eyes of the recipient .

It is a fragile opinion that the reserved party will never get a better job, it goes by IQ. I really feel that it is quite dangerous to carry such notions without realising the ground realities. This is a cruel line of thinking. One must see the writings on the wall. Also, one must understand that in a society there are differently abled people. Hence, some may be having good IQ and some may not be having. What is to be borne in mind that all weaker sections, whether be it social, financial or having less IQ or learning, should also get equal status in the society as a human being and towards this end, the so called helping hand of the Governments of the time to uplift these sections.

Even reservation is there also. The intelligent children will get top scoring mark and big big jobs. Try for it. Why to cry for reservation. The reserved party will never get a better job, it goes by IQ. So do hard work and try to be number one in the Country. See the change in life.

All reservations should stop. It has not served its purpose it was intended for. Low economic status should be the only criteria for reservation. Here too if students are backward in their academic performance special arrangements even schools for them should be arranged so that they come up better and compete with rest of the students and gain access to higher studies. Just pushing them by giving grace marks will serve no purpose.There are many instances where students getting seat just by reservation with very low marks in entrance and basic qualifying exams. finding difficult to cope up with the studies and either stops studies or gets through after many attempts in exams."Vote bank" attitude on reservations should stop.

People make fake caste certificates and taking the seats and scholarships of the talented ones. If the deserved people had got reservation, India could have become a developed country. Poverty and backwardness does not recognise any caste. For the accomplishment of equal opportunity to deserving candidates... Because it breaks the unity of the country. So that all people may feel that they are being treated equally! Even after 60 years of reservation system, they still need reservation. It means, they just don't deserve it! And these are the bad bones of RESERVATION.
