Re: [World Malayali Club] Muslim Offers $10,000 To Anyone Who Can Show That Qur'an Promotes Terrorism

Thank you for decently insulting me.
I'd choose not to turn a discussion into an argument specially with ITK

Great All-Knowing All-Seeing (though seemingly blind) Khalifa

Please! I beg you to just stop burying your head in the proverbial sand and face reality yourself -  since you stubbornly say you will not stop this public review of the "terror-promoting" surahs and verses of the mighty Koran till we face the reality.

What is your alleged reality?

That, according to you, the Koran was written only for dealing with desert-Arabs and the quoted verses are applicable only "to a situation of face to face war in a battlefield where Muslims are being attacked"?

What is the actual reality?

Both the challenger who claimed the Koran does not have a single verse promoting terrorism, and you, have been given dozens of accurate and authentic quotations from the Holy Koran (with verifiable references as to surah and verse) which explicitly and directly confirm beyond any doubt at all that the Holy Book promotes terrorism and killing of unbelievers, disbelievers, non-believers, apostates, idolators, resisters to conversion, and even peaceably living non-Muslim neighbours who only want to be left alone.  No "war in a battlefield" is mentioned or needed.

PLEASE DON'T RE-WRITE THE KORAN.

Yet regrettably you try to dodge the true reality staring in you the face.  You allege the quotations given you by me are not in the original Arabic language, and are incomplete.

No, no, El Khalifa.

There is no need to quote the whole Koran.  Or to e-mail to this website in Arabic.  Omar Alnatour merely asked for a single verse.  He was given dozens.  He can look up the verses himself, if he wishes.  And he can write for himself to this excellent and valued forum, instead of you acting as his unauthorised amanuensis.  (Can you produce his duly executed and stamped warrant to act?)

If you claim the quotes are incomplete (and they are NOT), isn't the Koran itself conspicuously incomplete?  For example -

The Four Christian Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John give details of Jesus Christ's birth and parents, his siblings, the Assumption of Jesus bodily into Heaven and the bodily Assumption of his mother Mary into Heaven, both escorted and surrounded by angels.  The Koran admits that Jesus was an important Prophet who preceded Muhammad.  Mary is the only woman mentioned in the Koran.  Why then are all these relevant and informative details missing from the Koran?

Was the Prophet ashamed of his parents and of his birth?  Was he actually ignorant about Jesus and Mary?  The Koran makes no mention either of saint John the Baptist, who baptised Jesus, nor of his mother Elizabeth.  Why?

You are again ducking the truth when responding to what I wrote about Muslims killing other Muslims because those were "different", i.e. because they were were Shias, Ahmaddiyas, Bahais.  Your argument is that the Americans started the historic Sunni-Shia wars and slaughter, which continue to this day.  Really?

Let us look at history.  Americans did not exist till a couple of centuries ago.

Neither Sunnis nor Shias existed when the Prophet died in 632 AD.  Thereupon, following tribal custom, the Muslim elders met and chose Abu Bakr, the dead Prophet's father-in-law, as the First Khalifa.

Some Muslims at first disagreed with this choice, believing that Ali bin Abu Talib, the Prophet's grandson and related by blood to the Prophet, should be the right choice.  To avoid open dissension and bloodshed however all, including Ali, agreed to Abu Bakr.  On Abu Bakr's death, Umar, then Uthman and, finally Ali succeeded to the Khalifate.

Umar was killed by an Iranian prisoner-of-war.  Uthman was murdered in 656 AD by mutinous Muslim soldiers.  The young Muslim community was in shock at seeing Muslims murdering the Prophet's successor and grandson.  Ali the Khalifa faced mutinies including one led by Abu Bakr's daughter and the Prophet's young widow, Ayesha.

Muawiya, the governor of Damascus stepped into the fray, and a struggle for power ensued between the Khalifa Ali and Governor Muawiya.  The war ended with the assassination of Khalifa Ali, and the succession to the Khalifate of strong-arm Muawiya (who was said to have no religious authority but only civil authority).  The almost-century-long reign of the Ummayyids' began (under which the Khalifa was both Pope and Caesar, according to followers of murdered Khalifa Ali).

Not all Muslims were content with this formula and Shiism arose in part on the foundations of this dissent.

After Ali's death the caliphate became the possession of first the Umayyad dynasty and then the Abbasid dynasty.  The Shia rejected the authority of the caliphs of Damascus and Baghdad, and continued to argue that the rightful leaders of Islam should come only from the marriage between Ali and Fatima, the Prophet's blood-daughter.  The Shias' insistence that only the Prophet's progeny could legitimately hold authority gravely challenged the caliphs.

At the historic battle of Karbala in 680 A.D. soldiers of Yazid I, the second Umayyid caliph, massacred Ali's son Husayn (who was eligible to be the next Khalifa) along with 72 of his companions and family members.  The fallen, including Husayn, were beheaded, their bodies left to rot in the desert, their gory heads were mounted on sharpened staffs and paraded in Kufa, Ali's capital, before being sent to the caliph in Damascus.

From that day to this, Shia Muslims have been hounded wherever they are.  The Americans have nothing to do with this centuries-old festering internecine strife.

"There is bloodshed in every religion," proclaims S K Q Iqebal, with whom Jacob Matthew Alemkunnapuzha "fully agrees".  Bloodshed is commanded by all Holy Books?

In the three essentially Semitic religions of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, YES!  Of course.

But "in every religion"?  Not at all.

Bloodshed is espoused in Islam, against Shias - as described above - and also against Ahmadiyyas, against Bahais, and others.

Bloodshed is espoused in Christianity, as dramatically manifested in the Great Crusades, in the near-total annihilation of the original inhabitants of Central, South and North America, of Australia in successive waves of invasion, war, occupation, massacre.  As demonstrated by German Christians during World War II, trying to exterminate Jews, gypsies, the mentally disturbed, and the unproductive aged dependents.  Dachau, Belsen, Treblinka, Belzec, Soliebor, Majdonek, Auschwitz, Birkenau, Janowska, Warsaw come to mind with shudders.

As also manifested in the atom-bombing of Shintoists and Buddhists in Japan, the drone-killing of Muslim civilians in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq.  Every baptised Christian child is solemnly told, before Confirmation and his First Holy Communion, that he is a "soldier of Christ" and a member of "the Church Militant".  He should be ready at all times to "harvest souls" for the Church. Anyone who has attended a Christian missionary school knows this.

In Judaism, vide Judges 3.26 to 29, God raised up to Israel a deliverer, i.e. Ehud, son of Gera, a Benjamite, who blew a trumpet on the mountain in Ephraim. And when the children of Israel appeared he told them to follow him for God had delivered the Moabites into their hand.  They did so, took the fords over Jordan towards Moab, suffered not a man to pass over, but "slew of Moab about ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour;  and there escaped not a man."

Many such mass-slaughters commanded by God can be found in the Bible.

According to Torah, Genesis 19. 30-38, Moab was the incestuous son of Lot's elder daughter who made her father drunk, slept with him and conceived Moab; the younger daughter also slept with the drunken father the following day and incestuously conceived Ammon.

Such apparent incests on a mass scale are found elsewhere in the Torah and the Bible.  At creation, for example, only Adam was created by God;  then from his rib Eva was created to be his companion.

According to Torah Genesis 3.24 to 4.8, after being driven out of Eden (Paradise) and falling on to Earth (Adam is said to have landed in north Sri Lanka on Adam's Peak and Eve in Abyssinia), they met, let Nature take its course, and Eve produced three sons, viz. Cain, Abel, and Seth.  No daughters.

Cain had killed Abel.  So, Cain and Seth "knew their wives", and produced progeny such as Enoch and his descendants, who inhabited the whole Earth.  Where the women came from no one knows.  However Adam's grandchildren presumably co-habited with one another and produced boys and girls who in turn reproduced ad infinitum.

Anyway, according to Torah Genesis 3.24 to 4.8, God saw that the earth was filled with corruption of the flesh and lawlessness, and decided to put an end to all of it, once and for all.

So, God called on Noah (who had "walked with God", was six hundred years old, and was a righteous man, blameless in his age) to build an ark of gopher wood, load into it himself and his wife, plus all three of his sons Shem, Ham, and Japeth and his daughters-in-law.

When they had boarded the ark, God caused a great flood to cover the earth and drown the rest of mankind, animals, birds, reptiles, insects and other life, while the ark and Noah floated safely above the water.  After this mass genocide, the flood subsided;  Noah, wife, sons and daughters-in-law emerged and, by Noah's grand-daughters sleeping with his own grandsons, produced present-day mankind and replenished the earth.

Earnest Muslims, not only of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, and of the Al Quaeda, but other modern-day groups, following the Koranic injunctions, carried out the destruction of the ancient giant statues of Lord Buddha at Bamiyan in Afghanistan, the destruction of the equally ancient temples at Palmyra in Syria (after killing off or converting the natives there), the plunder and destruction of the centuries-old temples and slaughter of their priests, families and staff at Varanasi, at Somanathapuram, at Ayodhya, at Mathura, at Vrindavan, all in India.

Nor were flourishing, well-equipped internationally famous centres of higher learning spared.  One hundred souls at Nalanda University such as professors, teachers, tutors, students, librarians and other staff, and their families, were "beheaded over four days, and their souls sent straight to Hell" as one report sent by the victors to Kabul from Nalanda claimed.  The professors, students, residents and workers at the Universities at Varanasi and Bodh Gaya were similarly dealt with.

Great ignorant Elkhalifa, thanks for admitting that "In the entire Middle East, there is not a single country that has no Shiaa living there."

Shias also live in large communities in newly-created Pakistan, in newly-created Bangladesh, in old Buddhist Afghanistan, in northeast Hindu India, in former Hyderabad, in the Gangetic Plain south of Nepal.  They live in Malaysia, in Singapore, in China, in Indonesia, in Sri Lanka.  I have visited them.

And are terrorised everywhere by the Sunnis, are egged-on, are financed, and are aided and abetted by the Saudis and their followers, such as by the Malaysian Government and by the powerful conservative Muslim authorities there.

Same with the minority Ahmadiyyas and the Bahais and other Sunni-labelled "dissidents" everywhere.

Did not create all of them?  In his very own image?

Face the stark truth, Great Caliph.  Do not hide under untrue generalities.

Warmest regards

S Narayanaswamy
