2. Corporate firms need to be incentivised to expand, create more jobs and
implement CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
3. Efforts to repatriate refugees with provision of guaranteed safety and incentives.
Repatriation can be to a safe haven in their nations or in a newly established Refugee city in another nation.
4. Improvement in health services and services for the disabled because
those in poor health or with disability can't earn a living.
5. Provision of training in capacity building. Self-development skills like, time management,
social interaction, self-esteem, negotiating skills and leadership skills are important
for success in employment and self-employment.
6. Severe penalties for the practice of discrimination and corruption.
These 2 problems are an obstacle to achieve productivity and equity.
It is harmful for the nation and a disadvantage to capable individuals.
7. Generation of peace and harmony among the human race.
When there is an existing conflict and war, it interferes with enterprise and the economy.
8. Cheap and Clean Energy (Electricity). There are vast areas globally with no
electricity or frequent short-term unavailability, through power-cuts. Cheap and
clean Electricity is necessary for development of enterprise and for children's studies.
9. Discourage Climate Change as it leads to famine due to drought or flooding and
this leads to reduced or no crop production and little or no income for the farmers.
10. Address the effects of advanced Technology. Advanced Technology leads
to lesser and lesser need for human workforce. This leads to redundancies.
The redundant employees need to be provided with alternative innovative jobs.
11. Address the effects of Artificial Intelligence (Robots). Life is made easier and
easier with Robots doing jobs that were normally done by human beings. Jobs
have to be created by nations to compensate the job losses as a
consequence of reliance on Artificial intelligence.
12. Address the problem of alcohol and drug abuse as those affected are
unable to work up to their true potential.
There are 5 kinds of Poor people
1. Unemployed
2. Disabled or in poor health
3. Lazy and not motivated to work
4. Displaced from their own homes and nations
5. Victims of discrimination & corruption
Hungry people can obtain food by:
- Earning money through a job or business
- Begging
- Stealing
- Prostitution
The 3 latter ways affect HUNGRY individuals and society adversely by
(a) a demoralising effect with the possibility of begging to become a serious long-term habit
(b) Imprisonment and, therefore, away from the family and
(c) contracting diseases, some of which can lead to poor health or even death,
depriving the family of a breadwinner.
It is with these factors in mind that it is felt that it is imperative to implement
the strategies for Economic Empowerment globally as a matter of priority and urgency.
Neglecting this issue will lead to chaos on a massive scale globally and both developed,
developing and emerging nations will not be immune from the repercussions.
We only hope that the world leaders will focus on the BIG picture rather than be
bogged down by petty politics and trivial matters dictated by their agenda.
Matters to do with Humanity should supersede all else.
