Sahih International
By the sky containing great starsMuhsin Khan
By the heaven, holding the big stars. Urdu
برجوں والے آسمان کی قسم! 
Sahih International
And [by] the promised DayMuhsin Khan
And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); Urdu
وعده کیے ہوئے دن کی قسم! 
Sahih International
And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,Muhsin Khan
And by the witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah]; Urdu
حاضر ہونے والے اور حاضر کئے گئے کی قسم! 
Sahih International
Cursed were the companions of the trenchMuhsin Khan
Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). Urdu
﴿کہ﴾ خندقوں والے ہلاک کیے گئے 
Sahih International
[Containing] the fire full of fuel,Muhsin Khan
Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, Urdu
وه ایک آگ تھی ایندھن والی 
Sahih International
When they were sitting near itMuhsin Khan
When they sat by it (fire), Urdu
جب کہ وه لوگ اس کے آس پاس بیٹھے تھے 
Sahih International
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.Muhsin Khan
And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). Urdu
اور مسلمانوں کے ساتھ جو کر رہے تھے اس کو اپنے سامنے دیکھ رہے تھے 
Sahih International
And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah , the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,Muhsin Khan
They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! Urdu
یہ لوگ ان مسلمانوں (کے کسی اور گناه کا) بدلہ نہیں لے رہے تھے، سوائے اس کے کہ وه اللہ غالب ﻻئق حمد کی ذات پر ایمان ﻻئے تھے 
Sahih International
To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , over all things, is Witness.Muhsin Khan
Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. Urdu
جس کے لئے آسمان وزمین کا ملک ہے۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے سامنے ہے ہر چیز 
Sahih International
Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. Muhsin Khan
Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. Urdu
بیشک جن لوگوں نے مسلمان مردوں اور عورتوں کو ستایا پھر توبہ (بھی) نہ کی تو ان کے لئے جہنم کا عذاب ہے اور جلنے کا عذاب ہے 
Sahih International
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. Muhsin Khan
Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. Urdu
بیشک ایمان قبول کرنے والوں اور نیک کام کرنے والوں کے لئے وه باغات ہیں۔ جن کے نیچے بہریں بہہ رہی ہیں۔ یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے 
Sahih International
Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.Muhsin Khan
Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. Urdu
یقیناً تیرے رب کی پکڑ بڑی سخت ہے 
Sahih International
Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.Muhsin Khan
Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). Urdu
وہی پہلی مرتبہ پیدا کرتا ہے اور وہی دوباره پیدا کرے گا 
Sahih International
And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,Muhsin Khan
And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), Urdu
وه بڑا بخشش کرنے واﻻ اور بہت محبت کرنے واﻻ ہے 
Sahih International
Honorable Owner of the Throne,Muhsin Khan
Owner of the throne, the Glorious Urdu
عرش کا مالک عظمت واﻻ ہے 
Sahih International
Effecter of what He intends.Muhsin Khan
He does what He intends (or wills). Urdu
جو چاہے اسے کر گزرنے واﻻ ہے 
Sahih International
Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -Muhsin Khan
Has the story reached you of the hosts, Urdu
تجھے لشکروں کی خبر بھی ملی ہے؟ 
Sahih International
[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?Muhsin Khan
Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? Urdu
(یعنی) فرعون اور ﺛمود کی 
Sahih International
But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,Muhsin Khan
Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). Urdu
(کچھ نہیں) بلکہ کافر تو جھٹلانے میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں 
Sahih International
While Allah encompasses them from behind.Muhsin Khan
And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). Urdu
اور اللہ تعالیٰ بھی انہیں ہر طرف سے گھیرے ہوئے ہے 
Sahih International
But this is an honored Qur'anMuhsin Khan
Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, Urdu
بلکہ یہ قرآن ہے بڑی شان واﻻ 
Sahih International
[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.Muhsin Khan
(Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! Urdu
