The superheated water may be hazardous to Your Health
Why reheat the water is harmful to health?
The composition of water changes when boiled. This releases volatiles and gases beneficially making boiled water is safe drink. But when running water is boiled again or overheats, chemical compounds change for the worse. Instead of being dissolved, hazardous substances accumulate, increasing the risk of consuming certain chemicals and harmful substances like nitrates, arsenic Y fluoride (see section below). Healthy minerals can also become harmful. In large amounts, calcium salts, for example, can lead to kidney stones.
The harmful effects of superheated water
The nitrates they are exposed to high temperatures can be toxic. High temperatures convert nitrates into nitrosamines, which are carcinogenic. Nitrates have also been linked with diseases such as leukemia, lymphoma, ovarian cancer, colon, rectal, bladder, stomach, pancreas and thyroid cancer.
And with the passage of time, an accumulation of arsenic (a chemical element that occurs in many minerals) can lead to arsenic poisoning, which causes numerous health problems such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurological problems, infertility and developmental disorders.
Moreover, exposure to fluoride too much can have harmful effects on the neurological and cognitive development, especially in children, according to data collected by Harvard University.
Therefore, today take precautions. If you have the need to re-boil water, be sure to change first. Fortunately, you can reheat the water if you are using distilled water.
