Stray Dog Joins 155-Mile Race, Finishes It With A New Dad

Dion Leonard was racing in a marathon when a stray pup joined him and ran 23 miles in 1 day

When the pup named Gobi wasn't allowed to participate, the organizers would give her a lift so she could be with Leonard

On the final day, the two crossed the finish line together

While the marathon is over, Leonard and Gobi's lifelong journey is just about to begin

The runner is determined to adopt the pup in spite of all the bureaucratic and financial issues related to moving the dog from China to Scotland
