The Unreal Paintings of Robert Gonsalves Canadian artist Robert Gonsalves creates beautiful paintings. However, his paintings go a step further than beautiful, they each play with the border between reality and the surreal. his work has also been influenced by Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte, who he had the pleasure of meeting.   A quick glance at one of his paintings will never do, because there is always more than one image on the canvas, depending on how you look at it. This is among my favorite types of creative art, the kind that unfolds in both meaning and beauty.
